  23. Well, the best way to get started is to either buy a 3D package or know
  24. someone with a 3D package.  Then, go through the tutorials supplied by
  25. the company.  And then ask a slew of questions.  This group is here to
  26. help out all those that contribute to it, so don't be afraid to ask
  27. beginner questions.  But, this group is Lightwave specific, so try to
  28. keep the questions in context.

  30. There is also a group called comp.graphics.animation that caters to a
  31. more broad spectrum of topics.  (Ie "I have a PC and want to animate,
  32. what else do I need?", or "Has anyone compared the new 3DS to Strata?"...)
